America250 is a multi-year, nonpartisan initiative striving to commemorate the 250th anniversary of our county, while creating opportunities to pause and reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look to the future.

America’s Field Trip

Students grades 3-12 are invited to participate in America’s Field Trip. In this contest, students can share their perspectives on what America means to them — and earn the chance to participate in unforgettable field trip experiences at some of the nation’s most iconic historic and cultural landmarks.

Students may submit artwork, videos, or essays in response to the contest’s prompt: “What does America mean to you?”
